Had a huge comfortable bed and the food was amazing! Breakfast had options for everyone, and the dinners felt like 5-star dining. The room was great but small TV.

The friendly atmosphere was truly welcoming, and the
service exceeded my expectations throughout my stay. The dining options were fantastic, and everything we tried was well cooked. On the downside, the staircase to the room was quite narrow, which could be an issue for some guests.

We had a great time staying here with friends! The rooms were clean and comfy. The breakfast was plentiful. We even enjoyed some mini-golf at the hotel. The staff was super helpful, and we loved the variety in evening meals. It’s a perfect spot for exploring nearby attractions.
One downside was the narrow stairs leading to the bedrooms in the annex, which might not be ideal for everyone.

The staff were attentive and provided friendly service, contributing to a pleasant experience. The breakfast was varied and of high quality, which I thoroughly enjoyed. the room showed signs of age and had some maintenance issues, such as a cracked bathroom floor and thin walls affecting sound privacy. navigating the narrow staircase to the bed was challenging during the night.

Absolutely loved the abundant breakfast choices, especially the focaccia bread! The staff went above and beyond, providing great tips for exploring Hadrian's Wall and ensuring our stay was nothing short of delightful. The room was pristine, very much like a cozy retreat after a day out.
While the charm was there, the winding staircase to the bed made midnight trips to the loo a bit of a trek. Plus, the soundproofing could use a boost with some thin walls letting in the neighbor's toilet symphony. Still, everything else shone bright!

Engaging local history with unique architectural features.
Our stay was marred by several issues. The staircase to our room was painfully narrow, making late-night trips to the bathroom a nightmare. the walls were so thin that we could hear everything from the neighboring room, including unpleasant toilet flushing. The heating was inadequate, feeling especially drafty under the door, which made us anxious about how uncomfortable it would be in colder months.
